Solar Solutions from a World Leader

Since Sharp's invention of the mechanical pencil in 1915, we have always been at the forefront of technical innovations. And we are just as devoted to designing stylish products that enhance your lifestyle. From our AQUOS® series of ultra-thin LCD Televisions to our advanced Plasmacluster® air purifiers, our products offer comfort, convenience, and superior home entertainment. This same focus on style and industry-leading technology extends to the development of Sharp solar electric systems that fit beautifully into your life. These systems don't just perform powerfully - they actually look great on your roof.

A History of Sharp Solar Achievements

Sharp's research and development have led to numerous important innovations in the industry. And our major investment in solar - including our "clean" manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN and our 1 GW thin-film solar cell plant in Osaka - ensure that we'll continue to expand and improve our line of solar products for years to come. Sharp's continual investments and innovations demonstrate our powerful commitment to solar energy.
